From a rocky plateau overlooking the gentle Lot-et-Garonne countryside, the silhouette of the bastide founded by Alphonse de Poitiers stands out against a landscape dotted with pechs. Organized along a linear axis, the bastide has preserved the remains of its two walls, ramparts and cliffs. Take a stroll through the streets and discover the town's architectural heritage, rich in character buildings such as the chapel of Saint-Jean d'Aiguesvives (11th and 12th centuries), the Joan of Arc gate surmounted by the statue of the Pucelle d'Orléans, the Gothic church of Saint-Pasteur, the remains of the feudal castle, the seneschal's house adjoining the manor house of Cabriol (16th century) and the market hall.
